We stayed here for four nights as part of a group touring the D-Day Beaches.It was fine for this purpose, but would not consider for a longer stay. Bar prices were very high.

Our room was in the older part of the hotel so there was no lift and we had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to it. The room was small but comfortable with a nice shower and seperate wc, but we had to have the windows open all night as it was so hot.

Restaurant & bar were fine, but watch out for the Leffe bear at 9 Euros a pint!

Our room was clean and appeared to have been recently decorated. It was still fairly old-fashioned in that the bathroom suite was dark green and the toilet was separate. It was a small room but adequate. There was no air-con and as it was very hot when we stayed we had to have the windows open all night. We were on the corner and it was noisy during the night. Breakfast was fine and the chap helping at breakfast was very nice. The car park is small but you can park by the children's play area for free until 9.30am. It is well positioned and very close to the Chateau. All in all we had a nice stay and i would recommend it. Not the best in the world but clean and comfortable.

This was a good hotel that was centrally located in Caen. I found that the staff helpful in telling me where to go for dinner or where to go in town. The hallway smelled of cigarettes but I hardly spent any time in the room. The hotel served breakfast which was what you usually find in all European hotels.

I really liked this place. We stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour, so I can't speak to the value of the room or food. My room (#304) was in the newer part of the hotel I think, with an elevator, and was charming and spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a window on the non-street side. I only wish European hotels had screens to keep out the occasional bug! TV had CNN, the hotel's available computer was rather pricey so I didn't use it, the food was pretty good and the breakfast had more variety than in many places. I didn't have much interaction with staff or front desk, but what I did have was pleasant. Location is good.
