The hotel is combined with Hotel Luxembourg that seems to be linked only by its kitchen. You check-in at the hotel Luxembourg which was efficient and friendly.
The rooms were small (seems to be the French standard) but clean and the bathroom big enough and also clean. TV channels are as expected,.... all French; even though there was a message saying that there were English channels after channel 9...... but there weren't.
Breakfast was initially in Hotel Luxembourg, but the second morning it was in Hotel Brunville itself. The breakfast is continental but the basics are there. There was scrambled egg and some sausages, yogurts, bacquets and croissants.
To get to the hotel you have to go outside through the parking area of the hotel. There is a link between the hotel but that is the kitchen and it's staff don't appreciate you walking through it.
There is a "unattended" entrance to Brunville which you can enter by pincode which you get when you check in.
All in all we had a pleasant stay in the hotel.
Oh and although there is a hotel bar which serve the normal stuff.... if you want atmosphere while you have a drink it is better to look into town.
Parking in the hotel car park is a bit expensive (9 euros per day) (and not many places), there is a public car park next to Hotel Brunville (under passage) and although you still pay 9 euros per day it is per hour and free parking between 1800 and 0900, so if you are out all day with the car... use the public car park.
From the hotel it is very easy to get out of Bayeux and therefore a perfect location for exploring the Normandy beaches and the WWII sites.
