The hotel is split over two wings, entrance and reception in the Luxembourg. The Brunville can be entered via the side road with a combination from the reception, or walk around through the carpark. Parking is 9 euros, but we parked for free in a carpark 100 yds away, and the other town car parks are free after 1900 until 0900. The rooms aren't that cheap 90 euros a night for what are fairly small rooms, with french channel TV,small wardrobe, but no kettle. The bathroom was fine, however, it took 2 days before our group had hot water in the bathrooms. There was only soap in the bathroom. It would be best to get a room overlooking the car park/ courtyard as my room was very noisy from traffic which starts early in tthe morning. I think the bed bugs were active as my sheets had blood stains around my feet and I have numerous bite marks on my ankles. The rooms and coridors are also dimly lit. Had numerous problems with the room key which worked for a day or 2 before having to be re-validated. Breakfast is expensive at 11 euros, has a small hot section of scrambled egg, lardons and bright pink frankfurters. There is a small continental breakfast section and a good selection of pastries and tarts. I didn't eat in the restaurant as the prices were excessive compared to the excellant restaurants in the town. The bar was poorly served, either the receptionist or waiter would eventually come into the bar and if you paid cash they would have to diasappear elsewhere to get change and was generally pricy. The receptionists were generally helpful, but when and why did Best Western give up the franchise?
Overall great location, but poor sleep quality, prices and bed bugs meant I would struggle to recommend it.
