This hotel was much better than I expected after spending several days in Paris. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful (more so than in Paris) and spoke decent English. As other reviews indicate, the hotel is conveniently located about a 10-15 minute walk from old town and about 20 minutes from the d-day beaches. The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging transportation for me to the beaches. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms homey but sufficient, and the restaurant impeccably clean (although I only ate there for the free breakfast). The only downside is the refrigerator in my room did not appear to work and there is no clock!
