A perfectly pleasant hotel in a great location. Assuming you are there for the the old town . . .
When we arrived in Lille for the first time I feared the worst. There's plenty of the city that, from a car window, looked pretty dire. The European graffiti plague has hit the place hard and many areas looked, well, pretty rough.
But joy of joys, the old town is wonderful. Lots of winding streets, cobblestones, boutiques, cafes, and this hotel is brilliantly placed in the heart of it all. 2 days is easily enough to get a feel for the town, and have a good time, and seeing as you'll mostly be out and about all you really want is a decent room in a clean hotel. Check. And you may want a self service breakfast too. Check.
So, it's clean, modern, not too much atmosphere (but then you step outside for all that).
Recommended.
