We booked this for the location for a 2 night stay for 3 members of staff from my company as a reward for a years hard work. We wanted City Centre location, walking distance from the Eurostar, clean surroundings and locality to bars/restaurants etc. This hotel ticked all boxes.

The rooms were small but very comfy. In fact, I rarely sleep in hotels as well as I did in this one.

Best of all though were the excellent super-friendly staff. In particular I should mention 'Manu' who manned the front desk whilst we were there. He was extremely helpful in helping us out with a issue we had with broadband and he was a genuinely nice guy to chat too - and he knew all the best loactions in town too.

Walking distance from the hotel found some really good bars and restaurants. The City was extremely safe, even at 2am as we made our way home. Best of all was journey time from London on Eurostar...coming home it took me 4 hours door to door (to Kent). The Eurostar station is a 20 minute or so walk from the hotel.

I'd very highly recommend this place. I learnt from Manu that they are about to start refurbing the hotel early in 2012 and he showed me the artist impressions...it looks really good and I will definately go back with my wife next time in the early spring.

this hotel was clean, friendly, and the staff were very helpful. Stayed 2 nights and had a first floor room at the front of the hotel over looking the street. It was a little noisy with the window open...so guess what...I closed it !! The real bonus is that this hotel is in the Old Town and in easy reach of everything. But I found the room a little small.

Stayed 2 nights here. It is at the border of the lovely Old City, and an easy walk to the central area with shops and train station. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops all around this hotel. Service was quite friendly and helpful. Room size was moderate, comfortable.

The best thing about this hotel is the location relative to price - everything else remotely central seemed to cost significantly more. This is about five minutes stroll to the old town and there are a good choice of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and well kept, my only critism would be that the decor was a bit dated. Staff were very nice and helpful.
