Stayed here for 2 days on a business trip, the best hotel I have stayed in in Lille. The room had everything I needed, including a bath and wifi. I would definitely recommend this hotel and intend staying here on my next trip to Lille. Tip: bring your own kettle if you like tea :-) I would say it was perfect for my needs at a reasonable price.

One strange thing - I could not get a bottle of wine in the bar after an evening out, they had run out! So the following evening I drank with my meal, before the walk back, which I do not think is ideal!

My wife and I selected the hotel for a 3-day city break. It is a smallish establishment in a pedestrian precinct, about 10-15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station where we arrived. (We were going to take a taxi, but the driver advised us it would be better to walk!) Our room was surprisingly large and had everything we needed. There was a little noise from late-night revellers in the street, but not enough to spoil the stay. Breakfast, which cost 9 Euros each, was a typical French affair of coffee, baguette, croissant, pain au chocolat, orange juice and yoghurt, but my wife had to pay extra for an egg.

However, the best thing about the hotel was its perfect location: nothing that we wanted to see was more than 15 minutes walk away, although we did take the metro to Roubaix to see La Piscine, an incredible art gallery converted out of a municipal swimming pool. As for meals out, there are several Michelin recommended restaurants close by, not to mention Meert for delicious pastries.

This hotel is a very short walk from the Lille Flandres railway station, while at the same time being nestled in the city. It is close to the center of town, an easy walk to the old town, basically very convenient.

Service was uniformly courteous and friendly.

The room was clean, pleasant, and quiet. The bathroom particularly clean.

If there is one thing we would ask to be different it would be to have a shower curtain. It was hard to shower without getting a lot of water on the floor.
