This Novotel hotel was not more than 10 minutes by foot from Lille Europe railway station and it is just a 5 minutes walk from Lille Flandres railway station. Lille’s old town, the city centre is also within a short walking distance so this hotel is optimal for those who want to spend some days in Lille and discover the city. (In the night when the crowd is smaller, Lille Flandres – just as every railway station on the world – was surrounded by some strange people but there are a lot of other streets to approach the hotel so this small inconvenience can be avoided.)
The hotel’s furniture is somewhat above the average, the bed was really comfortable; the room was big, light and friendly, the bathroom seemed to be new, it was also big and comfortable. They served a normal continental breakfast (clean tableware, fresh and abundant food).
My room was on the 7th floor and the only problem I had was that the heating system did not work well enough and the room was a bit cold but when I complained about it at the reception they helped me immediately. All receptionists were kind and helpful, they spoke English, and so I had a great time in this hotel.

- bathrooms need refreshment, which is actually taking place. For a business traveller the free wifi connection to the mobile would have been a normal service. A free WiFi was available for computers only.

Situated next to the Railway station rail travellers have a short walk to the Hotel. Car travellers have a Car park next door, but the price is 20 euros per day.
Hotel is near to the Eurolille indoor shopping centre, a short cut takes you over the railway lines directly into the complex.
Dont have Breakfast in the hotel, there are plenty of options in the area for a fraction of the price the Hotel charges.
Rooms are spacious but you only get a shower not a Bath.
