We arrived at the hotel to find the air conditioning had just broken down but the receptionist assured us it was still on to stay and that the temperature was still reasonable. We agreed to stay and went up to the room. It was very small and smelt highly unpleasant. My daughter was on crutches and could not get passed the bed or use the bathroom. It was very hot with almost no ventilation apart from the door and a tiny window. My daughter then pulled back the sheets to find brown stains and hairs all over them. It was at this point I felt I had no choice but to complain and we were greeted with a rude and unhelpful receptionist who could only offer us the same size room which believed would be just as dirty we then asked for a refund because of all of the above and was refused this. The thought of sleeping in the car was better than going back into the room so we left found a new hotel and left a letter for the manager..
