The hotel is close to the station, not far from the Sanctuary. Staff is kind, room is ok, clean but small. During my two-day stay, the lift was not working frequently and I had to carry my luggage down four floors when leaving. Did not try breakfast and other meals. Do not expect excellent quality, but it's good for a short stay and clean

Was extremely disappointed to arrive at this sweet-looking hotel only to be told "a big group of tourists turned up, so we gave your room to them", even though we had booked months in advance. The staff organised a room for us at another local hotel- one which we purposefully chose to avoid after reading online reviews. An awful, frustrating experience.

I was looking for something simple, and the Chalet Saint-Louis was a great value. No TV and no AC, but since I was gone most of the day and evening I did not miss either of them. The room was small (I'm 6'2"), but still a great value for a solo traveler or those looking for a place with no frills.

The owner was very helpful. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Grotto entrance.

We were very happy with the location of the hotel. The rooms were clean and the owner friendly. Upon arrival, as all the restaurants were closed, the owner offered us food for dinner which was very nice of her.
It was cold in the hotel (the heating was off) but every room had its own heating, so if someone likes high temperature, then maybe not the best hotel. Other that that, great value for money.
