to the very helpful lady ( Marie I think) who phoned ahead to get us a room as we were very close to sleeping in the car...she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful... shame as it looked nice

Hotel is difficult to find as address given on websites is in the middle of town, where in reality it's a long walk from the outskirts approx 3-4 kilometres. We intended to stay 4 nights but checked out after one night as the air conditioning was not working in the whole of the hotel. A small window in the room could not be opened fully because of security. the temperature in the room was 30 degrees. We had a hot sweaty night and were bitten by mosquitos. The room was very cramped and small with no room to open our suitcases.
We would never go back there again.

Stayed at the Campanile Cahors for one night. On arrival, the whole hotel's air conditioners were out of order (no fans either). Let small front waist high window open for some air as room was like a sauna, only to be eaten by mosquitos, then squatting them for the rest of the night. Had to close the window and sleep with a wet towel all night for some heat relief!!. Alarms went off twice and lasted for some 5 minutes. I will never ever stay here again in any part of the summer season, winter maybe. Rooms were clean though and did have a doona instead of disgusting blankets, pity I coudn't enjoy sleeping under it. The girl at the front desk was very nice and offered a free breakfast for both of us. Merci madame

Hello, my brother and i have stayed in the campanille many times, and have been to other campanilles in france ! but we keep going back to cahors , as we love the place and we love the friendly,familliar faces who great us , thanks to frank and staff for a great stay , we will be back soon !!
