A no frills budget hotel near to the centre of Metz which is fine for an over night stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. The parking is however a complete nightmare & we ended up having to park 15 mins walk away as we couldn't get anything closer which allowed us to park for over an hour. Not a bad hotel, friendly staff, free internet access & breakfast, good location but the parking situation would prevent me staying again.

Location is quite ok, very near railway station but little walk away from centre.
Our room was clean and big and it was equipped with A/C and flat-tv but no minibar.
Bigest problem with the room was the fact that there is absolutely no sound proofing at all. we could here everything from the corridor and next room. Room was also very dark because there wasn't lamp in the ceiling.
Breakfast was very basic but it was included in the room price as was also wi-fi.
Service was ok in the reception.
This is a basic Accor hotel with bigger rooms than Ibis but not as good as Mercure hotels.

Location is fine but ave foch can be noisy and with no aircon opening windows makes for a disturbing night. Shame that this hotel has lost its independent status and become part of the bland Accor group.

We did an over-nighter in this hotel, it has been cheaply renovated to try and create the look and feel of a design hotel - sadly it has failed. The hotel is in an impressive building on Avenu Foch in Metz, this is a lovely looking boulevard during the day, but in the evening we spent a good 30 mins watching a fight between prostitutes in the small gardens that run through the centre of the boulevard. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean and acceptable for the price we paid - but it felt dingy and old despite the attempted renovation and the huge windows. Breakfast was poor, low quality cereals and croissants. The hotel lobby and the lift are truly vile, the carpet is filthy and my heart sank when we first entered. Overall, this place is fine for one night, but don't expect too much.
