“Smell of warm Pain au Chocolat wafting in the windows...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

A small, clean, hotel near the train station, the All Seasons in Nancy is very conveniently situated. Value for money, although it has gotten a bit more expensive recently (as more people have discovered it!!) A great breakfast spread (in some rooms in the new wing, the smell of their croissants and pain au chocolat baking in the oven wafts up--a very pleasant way to wake up). The area around is quiet, was a bit dodgy earlier, but is being gentrified. The boulangerie across the street is very good. A short walk to Place Stan, and the Brasserie Excelsior. What more could you ask for?

“Good hotel, well located provide all you need”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

This hotel located just next to Nancy train station is a good price/quality deal.
Nothing special but just what you need (room nad breakfast is good), interior garden nice to relax if the weather is good.
From the hotel you can start by walk to visit Nacy center (Stanislas place, museums, parks...)

“Great 2-star in Nancy”

We just spent a night in room 303 at the All Seasons Gare hotel. This was our fourth stay in Nancy; our first at the All Seasons. We will definitely return to the All Seasons for our next visit. I was a bit concerned about the location (near the train station) but the area is not the normal seedy, run-down area near the station. On the contrary, the area is quite nice, clean, and has a superb boulangerie on the corner. Euro 7 parking is available first come, first served. We lucked out and were able to get our room at our early arrival time of 1115 Saturday morning. I was expecting to just drop our bags and head into town but we were able to check in and change to shorts (nice weather this past weekend) before walking into town. It's a 10 +/- minute walk to Place Stanislaus. We were more interested in the Marche this visit which was also just 10 minutes away. The hotel's common areas are nice, bright, and open. There's a large courtyard beween the "old" and "new" buildings of the hotel. Unfortunately, it was a bit too cool to have breakfast there but nice nonetheless. Breakfast is all-you-can eat. As other posters have stated, they have a freshly squeezing orange juice machine. Neat. The coffee machine (plenty of choices) was also automated. The breakfast spread was one of the best we've experienced in France with baguettes (plain), nice/freshly baked bread (awesome), croissants, ham, cheese, cereals, yogurts, and other stuff. It definitely filled our stomachs for the 10 km hike we did later that afternoon.

The room itself was nice. Small, but French rooms are typically small so that was not a surprise nor a concern. The room was modern and clean w/ AC (nice, as it was pretty warm while we were there), dark curtains (nice as I like blakced-out rooms at night), clean bathroom/shower, and a small armoire-like area. My only concern with the room was the bed's mattress could use replacement as it was kinda soft and concaved towards the center. It didn't affect our sleep though.

This was our first visit to this hotel as our "normal" hotel was fully booked. This turned out to be a good thing as we most definitely liked All Seasons much better than our former "normal" hotel.

“All Season's provides all you need”

All Season's go that little bit further to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, always including breakfast and free wifi. Also computer games for children, and on this occasion free tea and coffee, and a bottle of water in the room. The room wasn't huge, but big enough, there were two extra pillows provided and the bed was very comfortable. No complaints at all.

“Best hotel in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2011

I go to Nancy every month and I've tried most hotels there. We should start by saying that the offer in Nancy is not great so we have to stick mostly to the big brands. Among them, All Seasons seems to be the best one.

First of all, the hotel is located right behind the train station and ten minutes from popular Place Stanislas. It has its own parking (7 Euros a day) so you don't have to worry about finding a parking space in the neighborhood.

I have stayed here at least 30 times so I've tried most rooms already. They are all quite similar with a large bed (the pillow is the only thing I don't like) and an LCD TV. The rooms are comfy and practical. The only difference lies in the bathroom as some rooms have a bathtub (with no shower curtain so the bathroom becomes a swimming pool after a shower) and other rooms have a shower.

There's free Wi-Fi connection in all rooms and speed is quite good.

Breakfast is also included in the price and it's just great. It includes cheese, bread, croissants, yoghourt, freshly squeezed orange juice, etc...

There's also a small sports area with a treadmill and an elliptical trainer.

I think this is the best value for money in town.
