My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night in May 2008. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood approx 1km outside of Uzes. The hotel is run by a very nice couple who speak fairly good English. When our travel plans changed, they went out of their way to check bus schedules, call tourism offices in two cities and ultimately scheduled a taxi for us. The room and bathroom were a bit small - but most hotel rooms in Europe are. Our room had a lovely view of green, rolling hills. We had breakfast at the hotel, which consisted of rolls, croissants, pastry, cheese, fruit, yogurt, juice and tea. I don't recall the price, but remember thinking it was definitely worth it.

We saw this little hotel on a website and decided to stay here March 2005 with our two children. It is approx. 1-2 km north of Uzes, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, so for any action or restaurants, you'll have to drive back to Uzes. It's a family-run hotel, and the proprieters were very friendly (Mme. Vergote speaks some English).

The room we had was interesting. The actual bedroom chamber was small but clean. One double and two single beds lined the walls (very little space between). A TV and desk also filled the room. The adjoining bathroom was as large as (if not larger than) the bedroom - and cold with the tile floor. There were no toiletries or hairdryer. The room could probably use some minor renovation (lighting, mirrors, etc). Our room had that "budget motel" feel - not surprising since the price was inexpensive.

The hotel grounds have parking, a pool (closed in March)and a swing set for kids. Breakfast at an additional cost was worth it - the baguettes and croissants were fresh, coffee and hot chocolate were good, yogurt, cheese, cereal, etc. were available. Keep in mind the closest breakfasts would be a drive and parking fee away in Uzes...

There were still plenty of guests (European) here during the spring, but undoubtedly this place is busy in the summer.

There is plenty to see and do in the area. We enjoyed the Pont du Garde, the Haribo candy factory, Uzes and Avignon. Nimes was a waste of time.
