The Hotel’s premises are indeed very beautiful. The prices go accordingly. All the rest doesn’t make it to the premises or the prices. The room I was staying in is the third most expensive (130 euros per night), it is charming but it badly needs refurbishing. It has an appalling linoleum floor, the bathroom has a tub which is in a dire state (bits of paint coming off), you can’t fix the shower to the wall, so you’re obliged to hold it while showering. The separate toilet is quite large, but then the actual toilet is positioned in such a dum way that you can’t sit in it straight unless you’re a six year old (it’s squashed in the smallest corner of the ‘room’). I don’t know how much they charge for the breakfast, but it isn’t very good either, I had better ones in some Ibis (some, not all)... The staff are sometimes nice sometimes not at all. And, oh, be careful of your belongings when you leave your room (a colleague that had left her wallet in her room the whole day claimed to have found it short of 25 euros when she got back). There is a small pool on the terrace. The TV wasn't working during my stay.

This is a great place - we had a big room overlooking the cathedral, very romantic! A lovely outdoor terrace area and a tumbling old building. Very close to the Saturday market and all the sights. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We were late getting there due to traffic, and he stayed late to let us in and show us around, very kind. A great stay!

We stayed for one night and got a room in the area opposite the reception. The climb up a medievil stairway with cases was a challenge, the room was basic but clean & comfortable. Didn't eat in the hotel but the breakfast was good if a little overpriced.

Uzes is an interesting place to visit.

I’ve been there several times and always look forward to going back. The hotel itself has a lot of character and history. It's in the main part of town, so you can walk everywhere. They do have a small garage and there's public parking across the street. The staff is efficient and generally friendly, but reserved. Breakfast is copious and good quality. Each room is different, as are the prices. The restaurant is usually good and even their basic wines are good quality and local.

I just wish internet were free.
