We went to this hotel with friends with the intention of seeing the Pont du Gard by night and generally having a relaxing time.
The hotel fulfilled both requirements. We were there in the summer so were able to make good use of the swimming pool. The only reservation here is that there are only a limited number of reclining chairs around the pool, so it pays to get there in good time.
The staff of the hotel were unfailingly helpful and friendly and the service was very efficient. The hotel is well maintained and the staff seemed to fill in any spare time in cleaning and polishing.
The breakfast was good but could have been better. There was a large party in the hotel while we were there and we went down to breakfast at the same time as they did! The one member of staff on duty had a few problems keeping up with demand!
Very well situtated for a visit to the Pont du Gard and to the town of Uzes itself. It's here that the Romans took the water which flowed over the aqueduct and original Roman stonework and constructions can still be seen. Fascinating and a cause for wonder of the amazing achievments of this people.
