OK yes its part of a chain and a little formulaeic but that does not stop good service and a very friendly atmosphere. Beds are comfortable and facilities good for the price range. Contrary to other reports there was aircon and heating in our room
The Hotels is very well placed near to the main shopping area and most local sites (except the castle).
Our room had been recently decorated and was functional but nothing to complain about. Breakfast was pelntiful though cost €14 per person as is the norm in most French Hotels. Public undreground parking within 20m, (the hotel has its own parking but it is tight and for small cars only).
Out of main season expect to negotiate 25% discounts on the prices.
Room Tip: Rooms tend to hear noise from above so get as high as possible
