We had to stay for three nights in Perpignan and it was not that easy to find the right accommodation. Usually I prefer hotels with a higher standard; however, there are none in Perpignan. The Citea is an appartment hotel - we had superior studio on the 10th (highest) floor. The room included a kitchenette, including a stove, microwave, coffee machine, dishes, cuttlery - but unfortunately no kettle. Everything - the room, the bath, the kitchenette - was simple, but very clean.
We had a nice view from the balcony over Perpignan. Unfortunately, there is no lightning on the balcony and no additional chairs or a table is provided.
The air conditioning worked very well - a must in summer in Southern France. Some other hotels in Perpignan didn't provide an A/C in the rooms, according to other travellers we've met.
The location is very close (3 - 5 minutes) to the centre. Some shops (Galerie Lafayette, Schlecker) are just a minute away. We didn't try the breakfast (7.50 Euro per person per day).
The bed was comfortable, but very narrow. And the "double bed" were in fact two beds standing together - you find this quite often in France. We got a username and password for the free WiFI. However, I've never got a signal. I didn't try out the broadband cable in the room.
I would stay there again.
