We stayed at the hotel for five nights at the end of a family holiday. The town is a popular hoilday destination with an amazing beach and lots going on - excellent markets, free evening entertainment etc. It is a great base for exploring Carcassonne, Narbonne etc and there are a few local walks, but also vineyardsin abundance. Most of the holidaymakers were French with a few of other nationalities, but very few Brits. Most people seem to stay in the camping sites nearby. The cafes and restaurants in the main part of the town were what you would expect for a popular holiday destination - not cheap and not up to much, but the food in the hotel was great and good value. The staff are very kind and they work very hard indeed. The hotel is clean and the atmosphere really relaxed and extremely pleasant. Infortunately our spoken French isn't brilliant so we didn't get to know the staff as well as we would have liked.
