“We love it !”

We spend only 1 night but it's a very good place also from price/quality relationship. Owner is very professional and helpful. Room in Provence style very good furnished and clean. Wi-fi access for free, parking at 2 minutes walk in a garage. Suggestion to book place in the garage in the peak period.
Few minutes walk to the Nimes Arena and near to a good number of restaurants.

“An excellent 2-3 star hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of an 8 week holiday through Europe, UK and Ireland. We chose this hotel based on its price, availability of internet and car parking and Trip advisor reviews.

We arrived into Nimes via car having driven from Nice. There are a number of small streets in Nimes but thankfully we were able to find the hotel quite easily with our GPS. The hotel has access to a nearby car park with a very short walk between the hotel and car park.

The hotel is an average 2-3 star hotel so is not extravagant, however, what it does do is provide a good and affordable accommodation option. We were upgraded to a large room at the top of the hotel and so had separate lounge and bed room areas. Free wifi access was provided but reception in our room was very limited however I was able to use the lounge area in the foyer easily enough and got good reception there. We elected not to have breakfast there but rather have something as we were exploring Nimes.

The owners who run the hotel were most helpful, with lots of good knowledge of places to visit and recommendations of where to eat, the little family owned restaurant opposite the hotel is well worth a visit. The hotel is well placed within Nimes, only a short walk to the old Roman amphitheatre and to the town centre.

In summary I would certainly consider staying there again – what it does it does well.

“GOOD HOTEL”

We stayed at this hotel during our holiday in August and we can only confirm that it is a very good small hotel. The owner is a very kind person and we liked his availability on suggesting us what to see, where to go and where to eat. The hotel offers a private closed parking in the same street for a small extra fee and good breakfast. We loved our stay in this hotel and we for sure suggest it to the travellers.

“Good location and value.”

A very solid 2 star hotel, much closer to three stars, in my opinion. Caryn and Andrew (the Bristish owners) are charming and very helpful. The rest of the staff also, friendly and helpful. The location is priced for its closeness to everything, including the train station, which makes it very convenient for arrivals/departures and day trips to Avignon, Montpelier, etc. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone, without hesitation.

“Very kind people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 December 2011

Caryn and Andrew from the hotel were extremely kind in going out of their way to find my lost camera at a restaurant after I had left Nimes. They mailed it to my home address in Calgary. Such amazing service.
