This was a good hotel in a convenient location for the major sites of Nimes. It was near the train station but as we kept the windows closed and used the fan, we were not troubled by the noise. The free parking was really useful, although only for a few cars, but the staff let us leave the car there until 2pm the following day even though we'd checked out which was great. The guy on reception was very good and recommended a great restaurant which was probably one of the nicest meals we had on the holiday.

I stayed here with my husband and my daughter stayed in another room. We had rooms 33 and 35 at the front of the hotel. good things: good location to arrive from airport(bus stops outside hotel) and obviously by train and to walk into town. Lobby nice and spacious, staff lovely. Our rooms were seriously small and pokey and the showers in the bathrooms positively dangerous(high up, tiny, shower curtain only) no hairdryer no mirror no decently placed plugs no air con and couldn't open window as the only one was a french door leading to a huge terraced area. I'd call this hotel cheap and clean to sleep only and I'm sure for your money you could get a better hotel.

For being so close to the train station one would think the hotel would have much more noise. We found the hotel rooms quite once we closed our rolling shutters. The bathroom was small and could use a little update. The bedroom was spacious. I would stay here if I wanted the convenience of location and a good price, otherwise you might want to look a little further into town. The free wifi was not functioning at all even though the staff repeatedly assured us it was. I work in IT and could have fixed their issue in about 15 minutes if allowed but I'm sure it won't be working anytime soon based off the staff comments.
The staff were very friendly and breakfast was fantastic...a "buffet" of things to choose from and a nice large breakfast room.

A friendly good value hotel directly oposite the rail terminus. Parking is on street unless you are very lucky and can get a space in the courtyard, but the street is free overnight. Within very easy walking distance of the major attractions such as the imposing amphetheatre and far enough away so that the noise of the pop concerts held there some evenings is not a problem. Good resteraunts in the old city just behind the amphetheatre. Perfect for rail travellers or for an overnight stop, and yes they speak excellent english and do not laugh if your french is less than perfect.
