On one booking site, this hotel is described as 'charming', but it was anything but.... For the first time ever when checking into a hotel, I was given a TV remote along with the key by the grim-faced receptionist. The room - though clean - looked as if it been last refurbished by an amateur many years ago. The promised wifi did not work and with the window open (and it needed to be as it was very hot) the station announcer could be clearly heard. The breakfast was below average. A different receptionist didn't bother to interrupt her phone conversation when I handed back the key (and remote) in the morning. There must be much better places to stay than in this dump.

We'd booked to go to Nimes before realising it was a Feria weekend ans so this was the only place we could get - and it was costly as they'd clearly bumped up the prices for the weekend.

It's very well placed right next to the station and just where the airport shuttle picks up and drops off. But once you've said that then the positives are over.

The room was small, made even smaller by the en suite that had been shoe horned in. there's no ari conditioning so we had to have the windows open. that's where being so close tot he station is bad news as you hear all the train noises and the station announcements.

We stayed in this hotel for one night as there were no trains that evening (due to some accident). We took the hotel as it seemed to be nice enough and price was ok. We judged this by the look of the lobby -which was a mistake. The room we got had uncomfortable beds for three, no air condition, dirty carpeting, dirty bathroom, and the street noise came straight through the windows. It was late, and we were tired, so we stayed there for the (hot) night and got out as soon as possible. It might be that there are also rooms that are newly renovated but this one must have been from the 70's. I would not stay there again.

I stayed here for 2 nights which was more than enough. The shower head had to be held whilst in the shower which is just ridiculous. (see photo) the window was boarded up too (see photo). The reception area had clearly been refurbished, but the rooms were just awful.

The second night, 2 men checked into the room next door and throughout the night knocked on my door, tried the handle and tried their key in the door. I called down to reception as I was scared for my safety and he just said sorry and they continued!

The location was handy but that was about it.
