We booked this place last minute online for about $75 a night for a "superior room". The room was basic and had been somewhat renovated but still had an old door leading to the hall with a 1/2" gap around the frame and the banged up door leading to the bathroom had no lock or even a latch of any kind. The elevator also worked so-so and it tiny. The location is good for seeing that part of the South of France and the staff were very nice. If you want a decent cheap hotel it fits the bill. i would never pay the posted rate of $110 euro a night to stay here.

Came to Nîmes for a concert at the famed Arena, but all the hotels in the town centre were fully booked except for those situated in the suburbs, where the Best Western Nimotel is.

The price is okay and the rooms were the standard 3-star type of rooms (clean, spacious, excellent bathroom, flat-screen TV, helpful reception) expected of the Best Western chain.

The reception staff were kind enough to let us check out an hour later as well. Friendly folk.

My main gripe is the distance from the centre -- some reviews said that it was only a 30 min walk, but when we tried to walk, it took more than an hour! The bus runs until only 8pm, so the only other option to get back to the hotel after 8pm is to take a cab.

Booked 2 rooms for a night stay at end of August. This is a very basic hotel. We had to change one of the rooms as there was a smell in it. The rooms are not pleasantly decorated. Some of the wallpapers are torned. The carpet does not look clean with stains all over. The bed sheets are alright to me but I don't think they are 100% clean looking at how they kept the room. The toilet is small but comes with a good shower pressure. The air-conditioning in the room is good though, cool enough for the summer months. This hotel is not located in the central, still a distance to Nimes city. Good if you have car and there's a Carrefour and McD nearby. Recommended if you are on a budget and dont fancy nice hotels. The cleanliness is tolerable!
