same as my review of La Loge in Perpignan, on same trip. maybe I have to review my opinion about the French hospitality in the South.
Good basic hotel, more of a 3 star buisiness hotel feel about it.
not central but it's a 15 minute walk to the centre, or take the tram from just around the corner (i.e. you can avoid the rip off taxis).
there was a festival on nearby but it was quiet in the hotel.

We decided on Montpellier last thing so fell upon this place by accident! Good value, good location, helpful staff and we liked not being in the Old part of town, especially as we had a car to park.

This was a good stay. The hotel is very friendly and the staff are eager to help. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable- the bathrooms small but well designed with a huge shower. The rooms are small- might be a problem on a longer stay but ok for us. The buffet breakfast was good apart from the increasingly common poor coffee (poor machines- poor beans). But the excellent staff made up for any small niggles.

First impressions good and it was very easy to find - we arrived from the airport in a hire car and it was easy to get in and out of the city. The hotel has an underground garage which was also very convenient (extra cost of 9 euro). Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful and also spoke good english. The room was functional - standard chain hotel decor etc but spotlessly clean, great beds for a comfortable nights sleep and a really nice bathroom with great shower. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Montpellier - really good value for the price. We also opted for the breakfast for 10 euro which was very nice - cold buffet - fresh coffee, fresh juice, cereal, cheeses, breads etc but it was the best breakfast we had on our trip.
