“Good value in a great location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Just be aware that what you are booking is an apart/hotel. This for us meant a bedsit with additional bathroom and kitchen. It well designed around a relatively small space. The sofa bed was NOT the most comfortable experience, but as we were just using the room for a base for three days this did not affect our break. The kitchen was small, but efficient, as was the bathroom.
Make a point of leaving the Citadine through the rear entrance and you will have a peaceful and entertaining walk up to the Polygone passing many restaurants, fountains and entertainers. When it threatened to rain the hotel provided us with a golfing umbrella. The staff were all polite although English skills were variable.
Overall they provide a central location at a great price for Montpellier.

Room Tip: Avoid facing the road at the front if possible.

“OK, but could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

Be very careful when booking this hotel. Most rooms have a sofa-bed, not a proper bed. Be very specific if you want a single/double bed. The positive aspects of the hotel are the location, the internet wireless and kitchen, besides the friendly staff. The negative aspects are the noises from other apartments (especially if you are at the ground floor as the apt above can be very noisy), the dirty carpet and blankets, the crowded breakfast room, and stained towels. I would not stay in this hotel again, but certainly in the area. The tram number 1 is very convenient, as the shopping mall and open market near by.

Room Tip: Ask for an apartment with a proper bed

“Bad luck I guess”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011 via mobile

Three tram stops from the old town, the hotel is reasonably well located in the new Antigone neighborhood. Maybe the other rooms are better so if you ever go there avoid the ground level. We were in a room with no view, so it was dark and gloomy. The furniture was old and the carpet didn't look that clean. The bathroom was rusty. Breakfast, well, it's not that easy to find bad croissants in France. So, maybe in another apartment it is better, but I would not stay here again. Which was a bad surprise because my husband had stayed at one of their hotels in London and had really liked it.

“Good value, great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

This hotel is in the ideal location, a short distance from the square in the vibrant centre of Montpellier and all other amenities. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel which links with the train station and all bus services. The reception staff were very helpful, the studio apartment that we stayed in was clean and adequate for a city break. The downside being the balcony was in a very poor condition, badly in need of a revamp. However i considered it good value for money and would use it again if i return to montpellier.

“good value”

The hotel has a great location 5 min walk from the main square of the historic downtown and the Polygone shopping mall. The hotel is clean, parking in the building makes it even more comfortable. I stayed in an apartment unit and it is perfect for two people. Staff was helpful. Of course, Montpellier is just awesome.

Room Tip: Choose one facing the garden.
