“A must for visiting Montpellier”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

Apart from finding it which will improve in April when the new tram run opens ,Which is not the owners Pierres fault, He showed us the easy way out of town rather than Tom Tom. This 4 bed b and b was superb. The rooms super, showers huge, bags of hot water, great breakfast and help to find some super restaurants in the town which was ashort 15 min walk away following the Aquaduct. If you want a quiet ,luxury b and b and we run one in the Uk try this one ,the welcome is like home from home with nothing too much trouble.

“Couldn't be better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We stayed at Les 4 étoiles for four nights in December 2011. I can echo all the great reviews in terms of the quality of the rooms, the delicious breakfast, and the charming hospitality of Pierre, the owner. We especially liked being so close to the 17th Century St Clemént Aqueduct and within easy walking distance of the center city. The interior is high design, with wonderful art and ceramics. We were so taken with the design and sound quality of the Harman Kardon Sound Sticks sound system in the breakfast room that we purchased the system for our home, getting high accolades from our friends—an extra benefit of our stay at Les 4 étoiles .

“Stylish, Restful and Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 December 2011

We loved the stylish, inviting and thoughtful touches that started at the entry, wound up the stairs to the sitting/breakfast area and finished with a flair in our room. The bed was huge and comfy, the shower (with L'Occitane products) was refreshing and everything was impeccably clean. We didn't hear a peep all night long. Then breakfast was a fun exchange with a family from Ireland.

We stay at B&Bs when we want to see a city from a local's perspective and we weren't disappointed with Les 4 Etoiles. The neighborhood felt perfectly safe as we made our way back after a late dinner. It's a mix of town homes and small apartment buildings. There areIt's a fifteen minute walk (under the aqueduct, up some stairs and through a small park) to the historic center of Montpellier. It's about a twenty-five minute walk from the train station.

“To visit while in Montpellier”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

Me and my husband went in March. Pierre, the owner, is lovely and the atmosphere is homey.
Warning: if you don't like to share your breakfast table with other guests (there are only 4 rooms so you will never share with tons of people) this is not the place for you.
We were lucky, the other guests, from Germany and the UK, were charming.

Merci Pierre! On espère revenir bientôt.

“Contemporary design and very comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

This is a well located B&B just 10 or so minutes walk from the city centre. The rooms are beautifully designed and furnished - certainly a refreshing change from the uninspiring, generic design of some hotel rooms! Pierre owns the place and is very friendly and keen to advise the best places to visit in the city. The only negative point is that if you rise late there is a chance that the other guests will have eaten virtually all the breakfast pastries left on the communal dining table. There is also a nice terrace which gets a lot of sunlight throughout the day. A nice place to relax and peruse the guide books that are available for guests. Would definitely recommend!
