Located near the old town of Carcassonne, the hotel is comfortable, great parking, a swimming pool. We liked this hotel.

The hotel is located just a few blocks from the castle/Citi @ Carcassonne. It was recently renovated - nicely done and very clean. Rm includes free internet and a nice flat screen TV. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. They stored our luggage upon request and provided assistance with directions for various sites. Free parking is also available. Downside: (1) The bathrm was tight without ventilation. Also, there was glass wall between bathrm and bedrm, so when you used the bathrm during the night, it lit up the rm. (2) The rm was very small, but our rm rate was just 65 Euro. They may have larger rms for more $. Overall, we were happywith the rm for the price we paid. We would stay there again.

We had a bit of trouble finding this hotel after a long drive from the Dordogne Valley - went in a few circles before we finally found it. Superb location close to the walled city - an easy 10 minute walk.
We stayed one night and paid 100 euros for a twin room and 2 breakfasts. Room was small but clean - not much character as noted previously. Great to have large parking lot on site.
Breakfast buffet was good but lacking the means to boil an egg which we'd had the night before in a different hotel of the same chain!
Staff were helpful especially in the morning when we were trying to find a lost pair of glasses which we'd left in a restaurant in the City. Good value for the price.

Found this place after a long day driving, we had tried other hotels (all of which were ridiculously overpriced) and on the point of giving up passed the sign for Les Olivers with nothing to loose we tried it - despite not having a booking we were given a good sized clean double room - I can't praise the staff enough when the girl behind the desk saw how tired and how we struggled with our french she spoke to us in English (which was excellent) & passed us on to another member of staff who had "better" English.

The room was large clean and only a 10 minute walk from le Cite it has a large car park and the breakfast was of a very good standard - if there is a complaint (which this isn't) it would be that the rooms weren't very "French" and didn't have a lot of character but as a location to visit carcassonne it'd be hard to beat for price and location, after our first night we decided to stay for a second. I would recomend this hotel
