“Excellent. Don't tell anyone ...”

Stayed in one of the apartments on the top just under the roof. High standard and everything works perfectly and its very clean. Beds and pillows are perfect. The interior is not the latest style but there is great art everywhere. There is a pool, haven't tried it but it looks really nice and clean. The people who owns this place also stays here and they are absolutely fantastic. You won't get any better service at Ritz Carlton. They speak good english. Perfect area close to the heart of montemarte and 4 min walk to Sacrecure. Will come here again, excellent!!

“A true oasis”

I can only endorse what other reviewers have said about Paris Oasis. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one, not only in the way they have appointed the rooms which are individually decorated with great flair and equipped with touches such as decaf as well as well as regular coffee for the coffee machine, soft drinks in the fridge, lovely heated towels, even slippers, but more than that in being so generous to guests. In our case I hadn't realised that our departing flight was late in the evening, and at a very busy time for them they went to great trouble in making another studio available for us to use during that last day, together with champagne! Montmartre is a very lively area and we would have explored it more thoroughly in better weather. There is good metro access from the hotel. The bakery just a few doors down is great and there is a very relaxed and pleasant brasserie at the end of rue Andre del Sarte called No Problemo. There are several inviting and interesting shops in the street. There are two supermarkets close by which is useful as the studios are well equipped for preparation of light meals. One last thing: the hotel is very quiet, it really is an oasis in the busy 18th arrondissement. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: In our studio there was a high step into the bathroom and then into the shower which might pose prob...

“Exquisite and beautiful!”

We highly recommend Paris Oasis as a great alternative to Boutique Hotels or other nice and private vacation appartments.
The hosts are wonderful, refined and very caring. The entities are beautiful, clean and offer everything you need for a shorter or longer stay depending on the appartment you choose. The Bignons equipped every appartment with a nespresso machine. That made me feel even more at home. The house is very calm which we found amazing being in one of the liveliest quartiers of Paris.
We stayed in the charming Iris appartment facing a delightful little, flower-filled courtyard.
My son loved the pool with countercurrent swimming which is indeed very relaxing after a long day of walking through Paris.
The location right at the gardens of Sacre Coeur is just beautiful!
We´ll be back for sure and already recommended Paris Oasis warmly to dear friends.

Room Tip: The Iris apartment is beautiful and charming but if you need a kitchenette for cooking you may favor...

“Lovely guesthouse in a great location”

Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Nina room is the one we had, charming although I'd say the other rooms might be nicer and bigger. Nice pool to relax in and was treated to a glass of champagne from the hosts as we had a pre-dinner dip. The room was heated and stayed very warm so it was cosy. Everything is immaculately clean and towels etc packaged up too so you know everything is clean and fresh. Wifi and tv available. There is a nice bakery on the street corner for breakfast, cheri bibi across the road does fantastic food and drinks and you are ideally located for exploring montmartre.
Be wary of prebooked taxis! we had a nasty experience with one they booked for us. the taxi arrived early and had his meter running so by the time we got in there was already over €10 on the meter! I questioned this as we got in and he ignored me completely, we were only doing a short €3 to €5 journey to gar du nord and when we arrived he wanted to charge us €14 and when I again said no you had the meter running he proceeded to threaten myself and my girlfriend and said the things he would do to our mothers which was very unsavoury and left a bad taste in our mouths at the end of a lovely trip. please Helene warn your guests about this taxi scam and use a different company in future that you can trust!

Room Tip: book early as this place seems very popular, nina room was nice although we had hoped for one of the...

Dear Sheepnoise,
Thank you for your nice review on Tripadvisor.
I am sorry for your taxi experience and I should have warned you orally that it is the normal way
for prebooked taxis to start the meter when they come to pick you up.
Though it is stated on the Tips Book in the rooms, I note to explain it precisely to our guests when they ask for a taxi. Thank you for letting me know anyway and have a nice year 2012.

“I wish I could have given Paris Oasis more than five stars”

because this little cosy guest house really deserves it. We stayed there for six nights in October and this place was perfekt in every way. The nice hosts made us feel at home and they were always ready to answer any question we may have had, they took care of our laundry and they even treated us with a fantastic lunch in the garden on the day of our arrival. In addition, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the location is great. II'm so glad that I found Paris Oasis on my twentieth visit to Paris. I'll will be back in Paris and I know where to stay next time.
