We stayed at Hotel Le Six for a week to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. It was the perfect hotel for us. Having stayed in St Germain before we knew we liked the area, but this location even exceeded our expectations. Last time we had stayed a bit closer to the Seine, but I much prefer where this hotel is situated. The street is very quiet, but close to Montparnasse subway, one of the most connected subway stops in Paris. Loved being close to Luxembourg Gardens. Rue Vavin is also super cute for strolling.

The hotel is beautiful. Small, stylish, modern and sophisticated. We had a good size room and very comfortable bed. Beautiful decor. The bathroom was gorgeous. Small little balcony facing the street.

The staff and service were incredible. Everyone was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. They gave great restaurant recommendations and called to make the reservations for us. Also gave detailed instructions to find the sweetest kid's toy store I've ever seen. I had a massage in the spa and it was lovely. Enjoyed the breakfast as well and drinks at the little lobby bar.

We will definitely stay at Hotel Le Six the next time we are in Paris. If only it were sooner!

Stayed there for honeymoon in mid Dec 2011. Spent 5 nights in the lovely suite room.
Service there was really good. They offered a lot travel information, recommend you restaurants and offered to book for you if you don't speak the language.
The location is good. Between 2 subway stations, 3-5 walking distance to the stations.
Breakfast wasn't too many choice tho. Food quality of room service was ok, can be improved.

Hotel Le Six was the perfect location for us. It's near two metro stops, tons of bistros, patisseries and the Luxembourg Gardens. The staff was extremely helpful, giving detailed instructions on how to take the metro to multiple locations, recommending restaurants, and generally attending cheerfully to every conceivable need that arose. We ordered room service for dinner once and it was delicious. The buffet breakfast was average, but the coffee was not good. Housekeeping never disturbed us during our weird hours of jetlag-induced sleeping, but always cleaned the room to perfection when we were out. Le Six is a nice hotel, has an appealing contemporary decor, and the rooms are fairly spacious compared to most French hotels. Given the price, it is an excellent value. I'd definitely stay there again.

We arrived here early after flying from Australia. The staff were fabulous. They allowed us to check in early and upgraded us. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a great location. We look forward to returning for a visit when we're not so jet lagged.
