A great find in Paris to wrap up our two week European vacation! Located within walking distance of Gare St. Lazare, however the main attractions in Paris are a further walk. There are several bistros and brasseries around the hotel. The staff was very friendly, they upgraded our room and gave us a better view once they found out we were in Paris celebrating our first wedding anniversary. However the staff was not as helpful, we asked for a restaurant suggestion and the man at the front desk gave us walking directions and even wrote them down, however upon arriving what was to be the restaurant there was no restaurant. We walked around the surrounding area and still no sign of the restaurant he had suggested so we settled for another bistro.
This hotel is a pretty good value, Paris is such an amazing city so the walks to the main attractions were a lot of fun and we never felt unsafe in any of the surrounding neighborhoods. From what we had read before leaving this hotel had larger rooms than you typically find in Paris but from American standards it was quit small.
