La Reserve is one of those places you hate to talk about, it's so discrete - no sign on the door, only 10 apartments, each different, each furnished in cool modern style, each with its own features. My husband, adult son and I stayed in Apt. 10, with a large balcony on the seconf floor from which (as well as from the window in front of the balcony) you can see straight onto the Eiffel Tower. Every hour the Tower sparkles; it's like watching electric champagne! Two apartments having street level floors enjoy private hidden gardens. The hotel staff accommodates special arrangements; can stock the kitchens, provide chefs, personal trainers (and bring in gym equipment) and essentially create the amenities the guests require. Room service is provided by area restaurants that work with the hotel; there is no 24-hour room service or some other typical hotel amenities; there is space, discretion and catering to the needs of the often demanding clientele who call La Reserve their home in Paris.
And, La Reserve has the most comfortable hotel-provided slippers I've experienced.
