“Best location in Paris for a very reasonable price.”

If you're a student travelling through Paris but don't want to stay in the dregs of the middle of nowhere, then book a room here. The rooms may not be incredible and many have separate bathrooms. This is not a place to stay if you are looking for an luxurious stay, it is however parisian in it's rustique aesthetic and staff. If you're going to spend more time exploring Paris than in your hotel room (why wouldn't you?) then this place is great.

“That's all true”

Everything I read about this hotel here was true: excellent location, clean, a hidden gem.
BUT never forget it is a very simple hotel, 2 stars according to them.
They don't have a website, so you have to call. But they speak english and were very helpful.
We had breakfast at our last day because it was Sunday and many stores were closed. It costs 5 euros per person and it's very basic: a baguette, one of the best croissants we tasted, jam, butter and hot drinks.
We began and finished our trip in Paris and stayed in Studia both times. Our first room, number 34, seemed better.
There's a medieval museum one block from there, the garden is opened to public.
It’s nice to know we'll always have (Studia in) Paris...

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing Boulevard Saint Germain

“Excellent hotel/great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2011

I just spent 4 nights at HOTEL STUDIA with my mother and aunt, the hotel had been recommended by friends.

Hotel STUDIA is a simple and very clean 2 star hotel with complete bathroom incl hairdryer! and I admit that I twice had a 3 star hotel in Paris which I wouldn't go back. Studia is from now on what I will book every visit to Paris and recommend to all friends.

We LOVED it!!!! We shared the room (number 22) for 3 and it worked out perfectly. I also visited rooms 23 (2 pers) and 21 (1 pers) and they were just fine. Room 23 has a big bathroom! Conclusion: clean room, clean bathroom (own) and clean towels every day . Breakfast does not offer buffet, but who wants it when they offer adelicious croissant and baguette every morning? Each guest gets coffe/milk or chocolate or tea + a croissant and baguette with butter and jam. More is not needed, you want to hit the streets when in Paris after all!!!!

I highly recommend the hotel, staff is very FRIENDLY and helped us out when we requested normal pillows. Although the traverssains were thick enough to be used. LOCATION is great, one block from supermarket, two blocks from restaurant neighbourhood and next to patisserie, fromagerie, groceries and wasserette for those staying for a longer period (or with kids...). SUBWAY station "Maubert-Mutualite is next to hotel entrance and hotel has an elevator. Very quiet at night, no noisy neighbourhood although situated in busy avenue (Blvd. Saint Germain).

We really have nothing to complaint about Hotel Studia.

I have stayed at this hotel for 20 years with my mother. We went on a buying trip in April and found the hotel more updated. Everyone was friendly, as always and it is a wonderful location (withing walking distance to the Metro). Love the neighborhood.

“Hotel Studia - Great Value in Paris”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2010

My sister and I had stayed at the Hotel Studia before, and recently got back from another exciting trip to France, and stayed here again. You cannot beat the value. Yes, the room is not big - but if you are like us, and use the room simply to sleep in, after all you are in Paris, you're mostly out sightseeing..what more do you need? Room was clean, the bathroom seemed updated from our last trip. Breakfast is additional, and basic, but one might want to eat at a cafe for more variety (plenty of choices here!) Love having the balcony to look out upon lovely St. Germain Blvd. Location is excellent and there is a Metro stop right outside the hotel. One important note to know before you go: The hotel does not accept credit cards, so you must pay in Euros. Not a big deal. Truly, a great value and we will return once again to the Hotel Studia on our next trip to Paris!
