I'm not usually one to leave reviews but after staying at this hotel, I felt that I should warn others. My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for one night, as soon as we got there we wanted to leave. The light in the corridor was dark and couldnt even see the lock to open our room. Once we got in, the room was horrible very dated and moldy. The bedsheets did not feel clean. We didn't have a shower because the bathroom towels we dirty! I know we only paid €54 but surely we should at least get clean bedsheets and towels. I would never stay there again, do not book this hotel it will ruin your trip.

I would NOT reccommend anyone to go to this hotel, ever!! I mean I know it's true that you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't stay there again if they offered it me free. It's located in a precarious part of Paris anyway and although only a short walk from Montmatre, we felt really uneasy walking around, especially at night. The hotel room was small and dingy, really outdated and minimal furniture. The television did not work. The lights in the hallway didn't work and so we couldn't see where our room was; and when we did find the room, we couldn't see where to put the key to open the room. You could hear the next room's conversations with the walls being so thin and the noise of the locals at night was enough to give you a broken nights sleep. The heat in July was unbearable at times but the hotel didn't even provide a small fan to help. All in all a very depressing experience and I won't be going back.

I stayed with my friend three nights at the Hotel Angleterre Montmartre in Paris. I have to say that I was quite suspicious of this hotel after reading these rewiews here. In spite of that we decided to book the room at the hotel Angleterre Montmartre - and we liked the feeling/atmosphere/Feng Shui of this small and simple hotel! We booked the triple room and could get enough space like this. Our room was tidy enough and they cleaned it up every day. The elevator was not in order and it was a bit harmfull to carry upstairs our baggages - however at the same time I think that this kind of exercise is only good for my health! The stuff was very friendly, polite and helpful. We felt secure at this hotel, although the district around is very lively and (perhaps?) not so secure. The location of this hotel is just excellent = very near by the metro station "Barbes Rochechouart". This hotel is cheap and everybody understands that you can´t get any five-stars-hotel at so low price. Our reason to be in Paris was to spend our time in the town, not to be at the hotel. So for us the choice of this hotel was just the right decision!

Believe when you read these reviews on this hotel... Absolutely terrible bathroom conditions (mold everywhere) and even worse service.
we asked for the shower curtain to be replaced and our anwer was "your only paying 60 euros"
we asked to be moved and recieved an answer " all the rooms look like this"
THIS PLACE WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP TO PARIS...
stay somewhere else.
