There is nothing really to complain about but there is also nothing to rave about either. The service was decent, the rooms were a little below average, the price was decent. I just didn't have that much money. It is close to the metro station though.

I was really impressed with this hotel - okay I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic weekend, but for 60 Euro a night you can't go wrong when you get a hotel that is close to both Gare du Nord and Gare d l'est train stations. The man on reception was friendly, he spoke very good English. Okay the rooms were very basic, but mine was clean and quite big, the bathrooms were small - but for anyone who does their research on hotels in Paris - I think 60 Euros per night is pretty good to be able to put your head down for a night! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a budget weekend to Paris and not going to stick their nose up because the bathroom is small or the decor is dated!

I had read a lot of reviews, and I was nervous, lots of places in Paris seem sketchy. This place was great for the money! Did not expect lavish accommodations, I was thinking something like a Motel 6 in America, but this was better.

Yes, the room and bathroom were small, but I expected that. We actually freerolled and got a room on top floor with balcony! (no extra charge, no requests) The neighborhood isn't super nice, but there is a nice little place for fondue and wine right across street, and you can see the metro from the hotel. During the day, this area is fine, at night, its just like any other major city... I heard in a movie once, "Nothing good happens outside after 10pm", and I kept thinking of that :) if you plan on being out late, just take a taxi home if you're worried. Once you're there, the hotel is more than safe. Actually, I think I was more worried because of all the reviews I had read. I grew up close to NYC and there are areas there I wouldn't be out at nite in, but this was nowhere as bad. Dark streets in strange cities will always make you nervous...

I had arranged for the Nite-Lite Bus Tour and then a show at Moulin Rouge. We were supposed to be dropped off at the hotel afterward (1:30am). They dropped us off 2 blocks away and gave us directions (which were wrong!) If you book this tour with VIATOR or PARIS VISION they won't bring you back!! Ruined the whole night... So, we walked around this neighborhood at 2 in the morning. Thats sketchy, but we actually found a guy working a convenience store who spoke english a bit and drew us a map :) We were really close, but as you know, a strange city late at night could be tough to find your way around.

I would definitely stay there again!

The staff were friendly, however the guy at the front desk sold us tickets to euro disney claiming they would allow us to fast track ALL the rides but they did not. We could have purchased cheaper tickets for euro disney at Gure Du Nord. The hotel room was disappointing because the en-suite was very small and the shower did not work properly. The room was at the front of the hotel where there was a bar restaurant on the opposite side of the road so there as noise (music) till 2am etc making it difficult to sleep.

One advantage is its a good location for transport making it easy to get around Paris.
