“Stylish! Sophisticated! Ideal location!”

This hotel is a little gem. The location could not be more central and, if you're prepared to walk, you need never go near the Metro to reach the major attractions of Paris. Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Paris Opera, Printemps etc are within easy reach. There are numerous lovely cafes and restaurants in the little side streets near the hotel, as well as a supermarket. The room was a delight. Super comfy and warm beds with windows you can open if you like some fresh air. Breakfasts were divine. Smoked salmon, cold cuts, cheeses and French pastries are on offer, as well as the more traditional bacon and eggs, cereals and juices. The hot chocolate is mouth-watering. Service here was first class. Thank you, Sonya! Hotel management staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, especially when we requested a late check-out. My one concern was the slightly dodgy shower that would run hot water one minute and then icy cold the next. Not too pleasant. Otherwise, the perfect stay.

“Perfect location, amazing staff”

Spending 9 nights in any one hotel can be a test of nerves, but L'Empire made our stay in Paris totally enjoyable. To begin with the location is incomparable. Metres from the Louvre, Notre Dame and within walking distance of the best of Paris. The extra cost of this hotel was worth it to avoid the metro and lost time. Additionally, there are brilliant eateries in abundance in this area. It's foodie heaven. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are about a 20 minute walk as is the Palais Garnier (Paris Opera).
The staff at L'Empire were just wonderful. We were allowed early check in and late check out - handy having flown from Australia. The front of house team were warm and effecient while Sonia and the breakfast crew could not do enough to help you.
This hotel isn't your lavish Parisian maisonette but rather an ultra modern boutique hotel with an amazing location. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat for the location and personalised service.

“Perfect weekend getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

The very best position for visiting the three areas we wanted to spend time in. Two minutes from the Louvre, almost as close to the Pont de Neuf and the St. Germain very hip area. Short walk to the D'Orsay and a little further to the Marais district, great on Sundays. Room spotless (and I am very fussy), lovely linen and towels, great TV,free wifi, bathroom small and more like a 'wet room' but very modern and clean. Average size for city hotel. Service always attentive and polite. Hotel photos on website do not do it justice, it may have had a refurb? Tea/coffee facilities in room + a full length mirror would make this place perfect, and that is nit picking. I've stayed in worse 5* hotels.

Room Tip: 312 was very quiet at night, we did not hear any other guests.

“A unique romantic experience”

The "So romantic" package from this hotel provides a unique atmosphere for you and your other half. The "Superior Rooms" are well decorated, modern and big.
Safe underground parking spaces can be easily found nearby.
With such a good experience I will likely try it again in my next visit to Paris.
