Really, the best experience. We booked two rooms in this chic hotel. The rooms are small but if, like us, you wanted a cheap room my room was perfect. My friend had a more expensive room which was very spacious. We very rarely left the hotel for breakfast. We ate their most nights. I took my little dog which was made to feel very welcome. We walked into town. The airport was only a 40 minute drive away. We loved the locale. We were treated well. Must just say though...we are not Americans and loved the demi mond crowd, the bohemian styling and the uber chic dinner crowd. I have read some of the other reviews and I must just stress that if you are looking for a normal hotel then go else where. If you want a truly wonderful experience with everything paris has to offer on a budget...stay at hotel Amour

I liked this hotel even though it is not really a luxury establishment, so maybe a bit overpriced. The room we got was small but the bathroom was nice and big (and the shower was huge), even it I would have liked some more privacy than the unlockable sliding doors offered. The bed was very nice and the room was always nice and clean.

The restaurant is very nice, lots of local people in the evenings and an outdoor section I imagine must be very enjoyable in the summer. The elevator must be one of the smallest I have ever seen - don't bring your biggest bag! :)

The rooms are nicely decorated but unbelievably noisy and small. The elevator makes a hell lot of noise and when we asked to have a room not next to the elevator it wasn't possible.

We spent our wedding night and the next one at the Hotel Amour after our wedding on a boat on the river Seine. Sounds cheesy but it was just extremely romantic and the hotel contributed to make our wedding the best day of our lives.
We stayed in the white duplex room. It's simply gorgeous, and very spacious for a Paris hotel. The decoration was a mix of old France and old Scandinavian furniture plus some japanese artifacts here and there, really beautiful. The bed really comfortable. And the bath tub in the middle of the ground floor is a real luxurious thing.
