This hotel is situated near the orly airport and metros are just opposite the hotel, staff were very friendly and could communicate in english very well, our room was cleaned daily and the hotel is always clean. The room was not big however it was good and spacious. The hotel is opened 24hrs and further up from the hotel there is a shoppng centre, market, and a supermarket.

The best feature of this hotel is the swimming pool, followed by the location. The swimming pool is located in the basement. The exercise equipment was broken and did not work.

We stayed 12 days on holiday in Paris. The location is very convenient for Chinatown, (Avenue de Choisy & Avenue D'Ivry) which was key for us.

Hotel is just metres away from the nearest metro station - Tolbiac. The metro at Place D'italie is about 10 minutes walk, and has 3 lines (lignes). If you're keen on walking (we are) then you can get to Notre Dame in about 45 minutes to an hour (From Place D'italie go along Ave. Gobelins then Rue Monge).

Since we stayed for quite a long period, we negotiated a deal of Euro200/night for the suite on the 6th floor, which has a rack rate of Euro500+. The room was fine, with a small annex/sitting room. Only 2 English speaing TV channels (CNN & Eurosport).

We did not take breakfast at the hotel, since you can get better food outside the hotel for less money.

Staff were quite friendly although some did not speak very good English.

I spent a week end in this hotel recently and I must say I was impressed by the overall qulity of the hotel. I was in a double Nelson room that gives on the patio, very quiet, nice size, clean bathroom. The swimming pool is amazing, good size and quiet most of the time....really enjoyable after a long day walking in Paris!!! I can't comment on the breakfast as I did not take it. Staff was helpful and nice, we only had one problem: one guy at the reception burnt his food at 2am, the fire alarm went off, not very pleasant when you are fast asleep....Location is ok, close to China Town, quartier latin...Overall, I will come back to this hotel as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

I just got back from a stay at this hotel and it was fine. My room wasn't big, but there was space for a king size bed, and a desk, and it had a balcony. The room was clean and in good condition. It was at the back of the hotel and was peaceful. Its a nice enough area. I read later that its on the edge of Chinatown, with a wider selection of places to eat, but I didn't try anywhere there.

I paid €120 room only through the bestwestern WWW site. Breakfast was another €15 so I didn't bother, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby - there is a boulangerie and a McDonalds within 50m as well as a selection of cafes. Internet access is free. I didn't get a WiFi signal in my room, but there was a network cable which was fine. There was a kettle in the room with instant coffee.

Its not a big hotel - there are only 6 rooms on each floor.

Its convenient for Gare du Nord, as its a 10 minute walk to Place d'Italie and 20 minutes on the number 5 line from there. The Tolbiac Metro station is right by the hotel, but I'd then have to change trains after 1 stop, so I just walked instead. There is a big shopping centre on the way.

The pool is about 10m long and has been recently refurbished. It is deep enough to be able to swim, and there are some water jets in the size that you can use for the swimming equivalent of a treadmill. There is a toilet near the pool, but no changing room. If you get changed in your room, then you would need to walk through the breakfast room to get there. I swam in the evening when I was the only one there. There are a couple of exercise bikes, a treadmill and a stepper.
