Stayed: August 8th-11th 2011
The Hotel was reasonably easy to find it was right round the corner from the underground service. Very easy to get to Eiffel tower from here, and pretty much any destination.
Now for the hotel:
Pleasant looking from the outside, however very much different from the inside; lot's of construction work was going on: I wish we had received some sort of notice. One of the stair cases was cordoned off because of this (Ended up getting lost in the hotel more than twice!, as the signs were unclear)
That being said the room was fabulous!, the bathroom was very big and the bed was wonderful too. Took us ages to find the TV remote as the TV didn't have any buttons. Everything was clean, nothing smelled bad. :)
There was some construction going on outside our room but that didn't disturb us. We didn't buy breakfast so can't comment on that (too pricey for 15euro if a shop around the corner has sandwiches for 2euro.)
Staff were a bit uppity, only one staff member, an older gent as I recall, was nice enough to us. Others were...a bit off for some reason. Like after check in, we were nothing... Unfortunately.
But other than that it was good for the bed and sleep! (Although the area is full of cafe's and night clubs, so don't know if it will be to your tastes, I had 2 rude comments said to me by strange men.)
