This hotel is within walking distance of Gare du Nord, which is perfect if you are traveling by train and have to catch the airplane early the next morning. I stayed here because my other reservation at a different hotel fell through, and this was my seventh hotel to try and it was the first one that wasn't booked solid at 10pm.
The only room they had left was the suite. They charged 105 Euro. I would say this is a below average hotel in Paris. I stayed on the fifth floor and the hotel does have a small lift. It was fairly clean, but in desperate need of a renovation. The traffic noise was horrendous (even with the window shut). There was no AC (which is fine, except with the window open you couldn't sleep if you tried and we were experiencing a heatwave). My suite had three twin beds, a small TV, a dresser, a clean bathroom with a tub and shower. The shower didn't work. The old hairdryer blew up within 5 seconds of turning it on.
They charge extra for breakfast and internet. Breakfast was 5.50 Euro and Internet started at 4 Euro for 15 min. Due to a scripting problem, I couldn't even get hotmail to work and they wouldn't give me any more time on my internet card. In 15 min. I read three emails and attempted to send one email. I fought with it the rest of the time.
I really woudn't recommend this place. There are TONS of other hotels all around. Just make a reservation ahead of time and hope it doesn't mysteriously disappear like mine did.
