I feel so bad that I didn't write the comment as I promised more than a year ago i had my very good stay there in last last november. The night front desk guy was friendly and helpful ( and professional , no funny things )
Highly recommend for female single travelers who looks for a safe and convenient spot to explore Paris.

p.s. my witness - some asian female travelers picked up local strangers out of the bars and streets to their rooms and that was another stories . nothing did with the hotel.

The hotel was in a great central position - walking distance to Louvre, Seine, Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter - and excellent value. The room was basic and a bit tired, the bed wasn't the most comfortable but the bathroom was modern, large and clean. The windows opened onto the courtyard. The lift was so tiny - very cute - just room for one person and a suitcase. The staff were helpful. We would stay there again because of location and price. - and the hotel was quiet at night.

The hotel is a 5 min walk both to the Opera (and Galleries Lafayette) and the Tuileries Garden, 2 min to the subway and a 10 min walk to the Louvre.

Nice neighborhood, with 2 bistros on the corner and a oister shop in the parallel street, it's a good HQ for a quick weekend in Paris.

The staff was pleasurable, the room was small, but with a comfy clean bathroom, and the only handicap was the breakfast: only cheese, jam, bread, croissants, coffee and oragne juice.

But, as I said, for the price, I'd recommend the hotel.

It's a bit difficult to find at first but when you do, it's in a great spot. So close to so much. Reception staff helpful. Rooms clean but a little tired. The bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was uncomfortable due to the plastic mattress protector being quite hard and the fact that the bottom sheet wasn't big enough to tuck-in, so it kept scrumpling up and sliding on the mattress protector. No tea or coffee making facilities. Air-con in the rooms but we didn't need it in October. Like I said, great central location, yet very quiet. I wouldn't be disappointed if I had to stay here again, but given the choice I would probably look for somewhere a bit cheaper.
