Clean warm and quiet hotel in the 16th Arrondissement, just a three minute walk from the Trocadero Square and the Eiffel Tower. We were looking for a hotel in that area - where we have stayed again and love it - and we selected it for its price: good value for money.
Small rooms - but we've seen smaller ones in Paris! The personnel was very helpful.
Its absolute advantage is the location.

I booked the hotel based on price and location. Being the high summer season, the rate was exceptional, so I wasn't expecting too much other than a clean place to sleep. Boy was I surprised! The hotel is so charming, the front desk staff couldn't have been nicer and they really made my first trip to Paris unforgettable. The room was small, yes, but very cozy. Once the staff knew I was on my own in Paris for the first time, they bent over backwards to help me. I never once passed the front desk without them asking if I needed directions, or maps, or sight seeing suggestions. One morning I had to be out early and arrived in the dining room before the kitchen was open. The wonderful woman at the front desk went in and made me coffee! And the location was PERFECT. A five minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero subway station. Great neighborhood with cafes and shops...and a market and post office directly across from the hotel. I honestly could not have asked for more. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip. Thanks Longchamps Elysees!!

We stayed at the Quadruple Room (as we had our 2 Kids travelling with us), for 4N at the Hotel and it was a below expectation kind-of-an-exerience. Room sizes in Europe Hotels are expected to be small, but spotlessly clean. Room was certainly small but didn't give us a feeling of clean at all!
For breakfast, a few basic things were laid out at the Table and nothing more was offered - a complete let-down!
The staff at the front office were fine, but didn't offer any help on the eateries / attractions etc nearby. They sort of kept to themselves most of the time and gave a sense of unavailibility
Location was Good, as the Eiffel Tower was just a 10-15 minutes walk away, while the view point was actually just a 5-7 minutes walk. Champ Elysees area was a 10 minute drive by Taxi unless one wanted to take the subway (Trocadero station was a 5 minutes walk)
We used the subway for nearly half of our trips to all the attractions especially for Disneyland
Overall, learnings from the experience at Longchamp Elysees: - next time I would rather stay at a 5 star Hotel, close to the Subway (very convenient) but far away from the City center where it's expensive without any focus on quality!

Great location. 5 minutes from Trocoderro Metro and a great view of the Tower
Only concern was one morning a member of reception went litteraly mad and started screaming and shouting at a guest over a dispute over a 1 euro bill! We and other guests were having breakfast behind the reception and the whole episode was totally unsatisfactory. the guest wasnt shouting but got upset at been shouted at!
The other reception staff were very nice and helpful.
