We and another couple recently stayed a night in this hotel in July 2011 and did not sleep a wink. Do not let your first impression of the Hotel foyer, influence your decision to stay. The rooms were dirty, including horrendous mildrew in bathrooms with a strong scent that wofted into the bedroom with a 10 cm gap under the door, which had to be blocked off by towels. We then had to open a window to ventillate the room, however, the noise then became an issue thus preventing us from getting any rest. Upon using the tiny old lift, we managed to get stuck, having to ring the alarm, which was a terrifying claustrophobic moment, the same happened to our friends. Overall a dreadful experience and one we would like to help others prevent!

I stayed in Paris as a stop over to Switzerland. I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights.
The rooms look very abandoned and not very well taken care off. A nice flat screen tv with no english channels, not even cnn.
The bathroom was horrible and dirty!
If it wasn't for the great, central location, and cheapish price, I would stay far, far away from this place.

Staff were courteous because I spoke French. Rooms are clean and the beds are good for a hotel of this grade. Flat screen tvs. Location is excellent. Lots of little things don't work and the whole place could do with a lick of paint. Very good for the money. 8/10. Don't expect too much.

My mother and me stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in May. The location of the hotel is really good (10 minutes walk from Montmare and just 3-4 minutes walk to the Metro stration Place de Clichy) and the neigbourhood is nice as well. For a low budget hotell the room was ok. It was old, thoug clean enaugh. The bathroom was a bit small but still better than no bathroom at all. You really can't expect a luxury sweet when you pay that little! The hotel has an elevator which is really important as we stayed on the 5th floor.

The room facilities were ok even though I missed shower gel (so bring your own!). There is no hair dryer in the room though you can borrow one from the reception. The staff was friendly and had even some english skills.

To sum up: A good located hotel for travelers who don't want to use a lot of money on the hotel. For a short stay of 4 days it is perfect. If you want to relax and spend more time in the hotel than sleeping maybe it is not the right hotel for you.
