We were very happy with the experience until the last day. There was a receptionist at the front desk (a guy) who gave out travel tips and recommendations for restaurants and etc. He insisted that we take the private shuttle to the airport when we leave. We originally planned to take the Roissy bus but he was VERY persistent with his opinion. We almost felt like it would offend him if we decided otherwise. It was about the same price so we decided to take on his advice. But when the shuttle arrived, we found that it was very old and smelly vehicle, and the driver went around the city to pick up five more passengers to completely fill the van. We were in the van for over an hour and 40 minutes until we arrived at the airport. It would've taken less than 50 minutes had we taken the Roissy bus. I was also sitting next to the window that was broken and cracked open, it was freezing cold for the entire ride. The receptionist at the hotel definitely works on a commission basis. He also wanted to make a 'reservation' in person for the restaurant he recommended. He didn't just tell us where to go. Do not trust everything he says. Other receptionist (there was a lady) did not seem to work on a commission basis.
Hotel was very pretty and clean. Room was tiny but as expected in Paris. We had a King size bed (two twins attached), which was very comfortable. The hotel was a couple of blocks away from Eiffel tower, we loved going back there to watch the lights at night. It was also right in front of the Metro station, very convenient to go anywhere. Great location for food and restaurants.
We strongly recommend the hotel but definitely watch out for that one receptionist.
Room Tip: We were on the 1st floor facing the street. It was a bit noisy but we still like the view of the riv...
