This isn't your place if you're looking for a modern hotel. Reception has probably been the same for last 15 years, and staircases and corridors were shady. Only one person + one bag could fit into elevator at a time. Definitely has a Parisian charm ;-)
Room was sympa with quite a lot of space for one person (I was expecting a tiny room with the price I paid), table & chairs, tv, wardrobe and washbasin. Bed wasn't too comfortable, but the blankets were clean and warm. Room was warm, clean and lovely pink & purple. I really liked my room a lot.
Shared shower was surprisingly small, and walls hadn't been washed in some time - there was a LOT of mold on upper walls and ceiling. I don't know how the lock on the shower door was supposed to work, but it was quite easy to "lock" it by tieing the doorknob with long-sleeved shirt....
Shared toilet was ok, if you didn't put the lights on. There was dirt on the walls, but otherwise it was clean enough. It was rather small, but by no means tiny.
------
TL;DR : A bit like living in a dorm. Only for someone who's not too afraid of little mold and dirt for few days. Perfect for not-too-fancy-but-very-parisien -trip. Near metroes; not too scary to walk back to hotel on the evening.
