We stayed at this hotel for the first time after our fist visit to Paris in June when we stayed at the Lux hotel.
Overall we were satisfied, however we were annoyed by the noise in the morning. We were on the 1st floor, so any noise coming from the corridor came through even thought there is a second separating door with the hallway. Rooms were less glamorous than advertised on the website, though these are completely re-done new. So on the one hand we were happy that everything inside the room was new, it was not as stylish as advertised.
The bathroom is fully equipped with hairdryer, but in room 1 the hot and cold water for the shower were inverted.
The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of the Saint-Lazarre station and the champs Elysées. This proximity with the station made it a little nasty at night as it attracts the less reputable population, so avoid this area at night.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is ok: coffee, croissants, jam, yogurts at the self service. Its served from 7h30 to 10h30. We were attending a wedding that finished early morning on Sunday so had a tough time getting breakfast and checkout before 11h.
Overall, when compared to the Lux hotel, we valued this one more in terms of location and room comfort. However this one is more noisy and since I am very sensitive to noise I enjoyed the stay a little less. However if I go back and follow a more normal tourist agenda (going to bed at a reasonable time and getting up fairly early) I am sure my sleep would have not been as impacted.
