“Very good hotel and good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

First time in Paris and really enjoyed staying in this hotel , when i arrived there i found it a great hotel with clean room and clean bathroom and great location (the metro station is right across the street ) and that's what i wanted from a hotel as you only return to the hotel for sleep at night , the rooms are small but lets face it that's the deal with all rooms in Paris but our room had a view for Moulin Rouge it was lovely :)) , the room has no other mirror than the one in the bathroom and that was not good specially when you are 2 girls in the room also no air condition so i don't know how will it be in summer ,but in general every other thing was good and I really recommend this to everyone visiting Paris and specially for people on budget as it is a great value of money

“Very good, indeed :))”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

Perhaps one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed in when in Paris. The
location is fantastic: just across the road from Moulin Rouge, two steps
distance from Place Pigalle, and the Old cemetery of Monmartre (which is the
great sight on its own). Service is perhaps the friendliest, especially at
the reception. The regulations are very liberal, you can even smoke in the
room if you open the window. The guy at the reception, I remember him as
Ali, was exceptionally considerate and friendly, and so were all the staff.
The room was clean, the toilet and shower shone with cleanness, and, there
was no disturbance from outside except if you opened the windows. But it's
Monmartre, after all, not Latin Quarter, and I admire that Parisian noise
of fun and joy of the "movable feast" kind. In short, I loved it, and I
will come back when I am in Paris, as it is the place where you
feel at ease, the place from where Monmartre starts. I strongly
recommend this hotel for couples and singles who visit Paris for fun or on business.

“Good location, normal hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

From start I have to say, that france breakfasts are terrible in general (coffee, tea and croissant nothing more!), but big plus for this hotel that we got bread, butter, cheese, ham. Room was standard but smoky. Bathroom average, some oldiness in it and in whole hotel, but not bad at all. BIG plus is its location. Right across the street is famous Moulin Rougue and 5minutes by foot white catedral Sacré-Cœur. Also with city trafic you will be close to every city monuments soon. McDonalds is behind corner also. It is bit rush / noisy in nights here around (many pubs, cabaret around)

Room Tip: Check your room and ask for non-smoking one if it smells

“Friendly staff&clean hotel(a good bedroom)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 March 2011

Eurotel is a small hotel situated right across the Moulin Rouge. If you look for a clean place to sleep in Paris it could be a good option. First i thought that it was a noisy location but after the first night i saw that everything is ok. In the week we visited Paris, there was the St. Patrick Celebration but we slept like babies in our third floor room. The location is beautiful - you have Moulin Rouge(it's possible to take photos from the window), Blanche metro station(50m), Place de Clichy metro station(500m), two supermarkets(one at 20m - Monoprix, the other one on the opposite side), Sacre Coeur(20minutes by walking) and the beautiful streets of Montmartre. I recommend walking on Rue Lepic. Simply charming.
The hotel is small and has a funny "elevator"(only two thin persons can fit) but you can walk by stairs too. The personal is very friendly and helpful. They recommend us places to visit and they helped us with our airline tickets. We had a small problem with the hot water pressure and they solved in 10 minutes. On the streets at 10o'clock in the evening with my wife i felt perfectly safe. In the neighborhood there are a lot of pubs, restaurants, cafes, fast foods, erotic shops and clubs. If you arrive from Beauvois airport, the distance between Porte Maillot(where the bus leaves you) and the hotel is around 30minutes by metro.

“Excellent location: "Ça tourne devant la fenêtre"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

Not very sophisticated, but excellent in terms of location. It's placed exactly towards Moulin Rouge. Staying there, you feel like being a part of Paris night life turmoil. Asking for my booked room, the reception lady recommended the one with a beautiful view of Moulin Rouge, saying: "Ça tourne devant la fenêtre" .... and let me tell you, it does .. :) Another remarkable aspect is the excellent reception and very friendly behaviour of the personnel. Staying there almost a week, at the end of the day they make you feel like being part of the family. You share impressions, they give you the best advice about "must see" places, and the way to get there, etc.
Conclusion: I would recommend the hotel to everyone wants to "get the real flavour" of Paris.
And thank you, for the good reception.
