“Friendly staff&clean hotel(a good bedroom)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 March 2011

Eurotel is a small hotel situated right across the Moulin Rouge. If you look for a clean place to sleep in Paris it could be a good option. First i thought that it was a noisy location but after the first night i saw that everything is ok. In the week we visited Paris, there was the St. Patrick Celebration but we slept like babies in our third floor room. The location is beautiful - you have Moulin Rouge(it's possible to take photos from the window), Blanche metro station(50m), Place de Clichy metro station(500m), two supermarkets(one at 20m - Monoprix, the other one on the opposite side), Sacre Coeur(20minutes by walking) and the beautiful streets of Montmartre. I recommend walking on Rue Lepic. Simply charming.
The hotel is small and has a funny "elevator"(only two thin persons can fit) but you can walk by stairs too. The personal is very friendly and helpful. They recommend us places to visit and they helped us with our airline tickets. We had a small problem with the hot water pressure and they solved in 10 minutes. On the streets at 10o'clock in the evening with my wife i felt perfectly safe. In the neighborhood there are a lot of pubs, restaurants, cafes, fast foods, erotic shops and clubs. If you arrive from Beauvois airport, the distance between Porte Maillot(where the bus leaves you) and the hotel is around 30minutes by metro.

“Excellent location: "Ça tourne devant la fenêtre"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

Not very sophisticated, but excellent in terms of location. It's placed exactly towards Moulin Rouge. Staying there, you feel like being a part of Paris night life turmoil. Asking for my booked room, the reception lady recommended the one with a beautiful view of Moulin Rouge, saying: "Ça tourne devant la fenêtre" .... and let me tell you, it does .. :) Another remarkable aspect is the excellent reception and very friendly behaviour of the personnel. Staying there almost a week, at the end of the day they make you feel like being part of the family. You share impressions, they give you the best advice about "must see" places, and the way to get there, etc.
Conclusion: I would recommend the hotel to everyone wants to "get the real flavour" of Paris.
And thank you, for the good reception.
B. David

“Goodish - not bad”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 July 2010

Considering that Moulin Rouge is right across the street, the location is excellent, especialy that it's located in Monmartre disctrict, our favorite. The rooms are not looking so good, so the furniture, but the bathroom was clean and spacious. The noise it was a real problem, because, mostly in weekends people are parting, so...they manage to do a lot of noise. The windows are not closing so well, so the noise seems to be right with you in your room. :).
Generaly speaking it was a goodish experience.

“Clean but basic”

I had a small garret room facing the street. The view of the Moulin Rouge was great but, as you can imagine, sleeping was not. Noisy into the wee hours of the morning. The room was clean, the floor bare, so no nasty carpet here. The tub/shower had no curtain--always a challenge. The color scheme was depressing with mis-matched curtains and bedspread, but the sheets were crisp and clean. Although breakfast wasn't included, it was worth the 7 Euros.

“not recomended”

we had booked into the opera hotel and when we got there were moved to the hotel eurotel with no explination. The staff were nice, breakfast was fine but the room was horrible. The carpet was so worn and dirty I had to jump from the toilet on to the bed so my bare feet didn't touch it - but only after the cover had been taken off the bed because it looked and smelt like a dog blanket!
