“An exquisite boutique hotel!”

Attentive, pleasant service, unique decor, comfortable accommodations. We spent six fabulous nights at this boutique hotel in Marais. Our twenty-year-old son traveled with us, and although we shared a room, we didn't feel cramped, even with the additional cot. I dream of going back to Paris, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We loved the area, which was quiet. Highly recommend this hotel if you want a unique experience in a small hotel!

“Our Paris favourite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

Wonderful design hotel in an old bakery. Great location in 'le marais' with a unbelievably authentic (and delicious) restaurant, chez nenesse, just across the street. Every room is uniquely and surprisingly decorated by lacroix. And for the ladies great shopping just around the corner (also on Sundays).

the restaurant rating is for the excellent (continental) breakfast. enjoy.

“Great Boutique Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Fantastic little boutique hotel in Marais. On quiet streets but very close to lots of great shopping, restaurants, etc. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly (and spoke good english). Aesthetically the hotel is fantastic, but as is common with lots of european hotels (and paris in particular), the rooms can be on the smaller side. We opened up our windows which overlooked the parisian street - it was beautiful.

A great option though if you're looking for a good location that feels a bit more 'local', is close to everything, has cute shops and restaurants nearby, and you don't want to shop on the Champs Elysees...a good aesthetic option for the $$.

“Another Amazing Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

I've stayed here now 3 times over the last year and a half, and it's absolutely my favorite hotel in Paris. The rooms are large for a European hotel, the Christian Lacroix decor is perfectly done, and best of all the service is outstanding for a small boutique hotel! I think there are only 15 or so rooms so it never feels that busy, the room service breakfast is a perfect way to start the day, and the neighborhood is the best in the city for shopping and walking. There is a great bakery around the corner - Rose Bakery - that I highly recommend. I also love that Merce & The Muse cafe is only a few blocks away too. The staff are to be commended on consistently providing warm and friendly service!

Room Tip: All rooms have windows that open to the street for fresh air, the street is very, very quiet.

“Charming, friendly and helpful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We stayed here over New Year in an executive room and I loved this place. I've been trying for a while to get a booking here when in Paris but always left it too late as there are only 17 rooms so it's constantly fully booked.
The reception was friendly and helpful and you believed that if you did need anything they would do their best to help. We rang down for a dinner reservation on the first evening and it was sorted with no fuss and an ironing board and iron was available immediately. We were also invited down to the bar for a glass of champagne on New Years Eve.
The room was very spacious for a Marais hotel with a large bathroom and dressing area and seating. The toiletries were Hermes and the decor of the rooms was a wonderfully abstract change from your standard hotel room with fabric wallcoverings and stars and planets motif.
Only downside was there was no stand up shower in the bathroom which was a little inconvenient and it can be a little noisy if your room looks onto the street, but you can't complain about that if you want to stay in a historical building (it used to be the bakery visited by Victor Hugo) in bustly Marais
Overall we had a great trip.
