Booked in for 4 nights in January, photos we saw on the internet were notting like the room we had, however even though our room was tiny (Room No. 11) it was quite nice. Creative lighting, bathroom looked modern and had a Sony LCD TV. The main down points to our room were: No toilet seat, Shower head kept slipping, part of the skirting board was removed showing abit of rotting wall, part of the floor was warped. But these did not have a major effect on our stay.
Overall the hotel has no lift but you wouldnt expcet that in buildings of this style in paris, the walls were very thin however and you could hear every footstep or if the person in the other room flush the toilet.
Breakfast room was in the bastment and was beautifully decorated, It was 10 euros for 2 coffee's 2 orange juces 2 crossants and 2 rolls so not bad.
Location is good for the price, very close to the metro or we choose to get the bus, No86 to the main centre (louvre area).
Would stay again but may look for a location closer to the centre.
