Firstly the hotel is based in a very unsafe and ghetto-like area of paris- entirely unsuitable for a girl's trip or a family trip. Secondly the man on reception during the evening was shockingly rude- I know the french have a reputation of being rude but he was exceptionally unprofessional, we had to wait around to check in at 11.45 pm after a long journey, while the man gossiped and laughed on his cellphone for about 10-15 minutes in arabic, completely ignoring us standing at the desk infront of him. The lift is for one person, and extremely small and rickety. I could only fit my suitcase by holding it in my arms, and the carpets on the stairs are absolutely filthy! The rooms were small but the bedsheets were definately clean. However, we did find a cockroach in the bedroom, and the shower (cold water only) had mould growing up the walls . Yes, its very cheap but I'd never stay again, it was dirty and unsafe.

Arrived at hotel, no where to park car even for 5 mins to check in and unload, nearest carpark 20 mins walk away. Reception staff unhelpful rather be chatting to their friends on Facebook, 1st room we were allocated was already occupied (lucky they were out as we barged in!) 2nd room was on 6th floor nt good when the lift only fits 1 person at a time. Room was dirty but bed sheets clean and bed was comfy. Did not sleep to well due to bars on street below playing music until early hours of the morning. The area was horrible, you would not think you were in Paris! Will never return and will never recommend even to my worst enemy!!!!!

The staff in the reception is ill mannered and insensitive. Surprising that they undertake bookings through hotel booking sites and do not care to read the booking details. We were harassed in the late hours of night on arrival with the hotel refusing to confirm accommodation for 3 persons, in spite of the reservation confirmation stating so. They make you pay extra or refuse entry.
Regarding amenities: The lift is of size where either you or your luggage goes!! Do not try to enter with a pram - either the pram goes or you go!! Stair case is narrow and not clean.
Toilets are messy, worst that I have seen in Europe.
Breakfast is minimal, better to buy from the nearest superstore, if not provided in the price.
Only point that goes positive about this otherwise lousy hotel is its locational advantage. Yes, you would find that very conveniently located - you can just hop out of a metro into this hotel.

We wanted a budget hotel for our 2 nights of stay in Paris. We booked a room for 3 people for 2days through the HRS site, and the bill was 176 euros.
When we arrived at night (22:40 hrs), the criminals at the reception forced us to pay 40 euros extra on the billing amount, else refused to give us an accomodation for 3 people. They also did not allow us to move out to another hotel, and said that we would be charged 176 euros invariably. We had to move into a dingy 3 bedded room.
1. The flushing system in the toilet was not working.
2. There were Worms in the toilet near the drain.
3. The elevator was too small even for 1 person. Luggage goes in or the owner goes in. The two an't go side by side.
4. The staff at the reception: ABOMINABLE. I have a small mobile clip showing how the person spoke to my dad. I formed a very bad impression about the French from this experience.
5. The beds have unwashed sheets. Damp smell was there in the towels as well.
6. The breakfast is bad: No ham/Salami/meat of any kind.
7. Above all the rates are atrocious. 100 euros + for a grimy room...
8. There is no WiFi in the room. WiFi in the lobby (Reception) operates between 8 Am to 11:59 Pm. So, you can't work at night at all.
Unless you wold want to experience getting robbed by French Thugs in broad daylight, do not visit this place. It was a nightmare, and I don't know how the French Admin is allowing such unsafe and unhealthy hotels to spring up and operate.
