“Nice Location, typical 3 star hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I stayed here for 12 nights, primarily as it was the nearest hotel to my workplace. hotel is small but have nice reception and good breakfast area. Breakfast was good and staff is friendly and speaks/understand English!
They rate themselves as 3 star and stick to that nothing great but whatever promises by hotel is there. It is located at nice center of Paris nearest Metro(Subway) entry is 2 mins walk. very near to Notre Dame and other scenic area of paris.

Note: the area "Châtelet" can be dangerous in night and hotel is situated in this area. So be careful i had no incident but i was aware of this and took some precautions. Overall it is in safer side of city, but as you never know.

“Excellent location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

This hotel is located right in the centre and seconds off rue de rivoli and all the shopping. It was a small hotel with excellent service and the croissants were good. Breakfast was good too. I stayed with two other girl friends in a classic triple. Size was average but the carpet is just awful. Do not like carpet in hotel rooms. Needs updating. Quiet sleep. Restaurants around the area are good and Vivienne at the reception was very nice and recommended two restaurants and booked for us too. The food and wine at these restaurants were excellent. Typical püaris brassierie. Good service as well at the restaurants. The metro, Chatelet, is seconds away.

Room Tip: Can't recommend as we were three in a classic triple.

“Great location and price/quality ratio!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

I come to Paris a few times a year and stayed in a number of hotels, including 3* like Louvre Rivoli and more luxury ones like Le Meurice. First time I stayed at Louvre Rivoli was in 2008 and i came back there a few times after that. The location is perfect, on a small and relatively quiet street (as quiet as it can get in central Paris). However, it's literally 2 steps away from rue Rivoli and the embankment (nice area for walking around), as well Chatelet metro station & taxi stand. It is also 5 minute walk to Louvre and there are lots of nice places to eat in the neigjborhood. So if you're in Paris for sightseeing and/or shopping, the location is truly great! The hotel also has spacious (especially for central Paris), clean and quite nicely renovated rooms. Just don't take book a single room on the 6th floor if you're travelling solo (can get a bit claustrophobic). Double rooms are very nice for this price level. The hotel is relatively small, so don't expect the range of facilities standard for larger chain hotels (e.g. there is no lobby bar as such although it exists but there are lots of places to grab a drink in the neighborhood). However, this time we got a special offer with the breakfast included and it was more than we actually expected (not just a usual croissant & tea/coffee which is quite standard). The staff is also super friendly and speak good English (which is always a nice surprise in France), especially Laurent at the reception! So if you want to be in the center, have a nice hotel w/o spending too much, I would definitely recommend it.

“Upgraded!”

Perfect location, clean and quiet. We checked in and our room was not ready. The receptionist then upgraded us to a much BIGGER room! Great touch!

“Excellent small hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Always stay in this hotel when in Paris. Its location is superb, just a stone's throw from Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame and the Louvre. Situated in a tiny street between Place Chatelet and Rue de Rivoli, it couldn't be more central and the metro Chatelet, just a minute away, has many lines so you can get anywhere easily.
The hotel is very quiet for Paris, the rooms simple but clean, and the service very good. The reception staff are exceptionally helpful and pleasant, speak English, and I've always found that they go out of their way to help. It's a great little hotel.
